Christian Hardy is continuing toward a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Biomedical Engineering from Northeastern University . He worked with Prof. Michael Kane and Kunind Sharma over Summer 2018 to research different hardware/software packages and their viability for human-in-the-loop Energy Management Systems in the ABLE Lab. Originally from Sacramento California Christian moved to Massachusetts in 2016 to return to school full time. During his time at MassBay Community College he focused not only on completing his coursework, attaining a strong foundation in the sciences (Chemistry, Physics, Calculus), but also founded The MassBay Engineering Club. For the first semester as President he led the club in research on a solar powered cell phone charger. This project continued for the next three semesters along with other projects such as an Remote Telepresence Robot. Outside of school Christian likes to write fiction/poetry, running and reading.
